Think realistically, while that would be nice for you, is that REALLY worth my time?
Personally I set my prices at around $10 per hour, and try to gauge in advance how long a piece will take. I’ve taken commissions from $10 to $80.

Here’s the thing with commissions: Prices are totally arbitrary. I used myself as an example, but more often than not, people commission you because they want YOU, not someone else.
Pricing honestly doesn’t matter—set them at what you’re comfortable with.
Wanting to work with the artist is one thing, but pricing is another. For example, I have commissioned well over 100 pieces of artwork. I usually estimate a cost per quality ratio, and commission on that. Unfortunately for the artist, time is not a factor here. Why? Well because an artist basically produces a certain amount of quality per hour, so when the time is multiplied out, quality is all that remains and so time has become invisible to the consumer (me).
The easiest way to explain this:
If two artists go out and produce the exact same image, I am paying them the exact same. If one artist took twice as long, they are not getting twice the funds.
Now, from an artist’s standpoint it makes a lot of sense to consider the amount of funds you’re making per hour. That’s just good business sense. If, at this time, your quality level per hour isn’t high enough to produce an image that people are willing to pay for at the hourly rate you want, commissions might not be a great option.
All that said, I haven’t looked at Lesboloo’s blog to gauge how much I would be interested in paying. I have worked with Zedrin before, and am eager to work with him again. Great quality and a good quality/cost ratio.

So it looks like the appeals we made against those claims on our videos were rejected… by the person making the claim. Yup. When you submit an appeal, Youtube hands it over to whoever made the claim in the first place, and they ask, “Do you agree with this appeal?”
